Coalition Letter to House and Senate Leadership Urging Funding for State SNAP in FY25 Budget

The Feeding Our Neighbors Coalition sent a letter to Chairman Michlewitz and Chairman Rodrigues today, urging Ways and Means to include $18 million for state SNAP in the FY25 budget.

The letter comes after the inclusion of $6 million in the recent Fiscal Year 2023 Supplemental Budget. This funding is already providing about 3,200 extremely low-income, legally present immigrant families with critical food benefits. Additional funding is needed for the program to continue.
